THE
KITCHEN STATION

What was the brief? Our client was seeking a contemporary kitchen design as part of their house renovation project. They desired a space characterised by clean lines and a luxurious ambiance. The client emphasized the importance of ample storage with plenty of cabinets and floating shelves for styling purposes. They expressed a preference for a modern aesthetic, specifically requesting a black and white colour scheme to achieve a sleek and sophisticated vibe.

How did you achieve the brief?

After the first appointment with the client, we instantly could see their vision and were eager to design various options within the brief for them to choose from. We then worked closely with them to explain the reasonings behind the design and made amendments to reflect their requirements, this enabled us to achieve a kitchen with a perfect blend of style and durability.

Which products did you use and why?

This kitchen required subtle details that reflected the contemporary design. The client opted for sleek onyx black handle strips which complemented the onyx kitchen island doors and wall units. They were contrasted with crystal white glasline doors.

Additionally, the black detail continued throughout with glass wall units featuring a black onyx frame and LED lights to give a perfect ambiance.

Siemens top of the range appliances were used throughout to ensure efficiency, quality and reliability.

Further lighting was added in the extractor along with featured downlights throughout.

The design was finished with finest Calcatta light 30mm quartz which was used for the worktops, end panels and up-stands.

What key elements made the design successful?

We were able to manage the whole project from design to installation, ensuring no breakdown in communication and the fitters had confidence with the products.
